Hi everyone. Congrats to to all of you who have had those cute little babies. I am sure they are so much fun. I am working at IMC on the medical telemetry floor and it is great. I am finally feeling a little more comfortable and have gained some confidence in my ability. I love the people I work with they are great. I too agree it was such a relief when I passed my boards. I worked with my temporary for a while letting the stress of taking them build up. I finally took them in July and I was mad at myself for waiting so long they were really not that bad. I miss seeing everyone even though I was an add on this last year. I hope everyone is doing great. Talk to you all later.

Nurses rule!

Hey everyone! I'm so excited to everyone and the success you all seem to be having with love, life, and work. Congratulations! I agree with Holly when she said what a stinkin relief it is to have boards over with but YAY! I passed! I'm working at Saint Mark's hospital in the ICU and can I just say what a hazard to MY health the ICU is? :) I do love it but there is way too much info they didn't teach us in school. I'm just on my way back from vacation to the Oregon coast which was beautiful and looking forward to getting back to the heat of Utah and stress of work, hurrah for having an apartment complex with a pool! I miss you all tons and think it would be a splendid idea if we had a fun summer reunion. By the way, anyone interested in having their name individually as a contributing team member I figured out how to do it so we can all log in to this blog spot as ourselves, you just need a gmail account first. Hey everyone! So I had my baby on Saturday June 28th at 12:31 pm!! She weighed 6 lbs 10 oz, which I think is just perfect! Everything went really well, especially after my heavenly epidural...it's true, they're lifesavers! Brooke was even my nurse in Mother/Baby....she was so great!! It's so much stinkin fun having a baby, I just can't believe it sometimes. It's definitely an interesting experience "being on the other side of the stirrups instead of the student nurse looking on in awe," as Sarah put it! She's been really good so far, of course she's less than a week old so we're still getting to know her....but it's tons of fun! This picture was taken just after we got home the next afternoon...only a day old! Anyway, I'll keep you posted!

Hello everyone! It's Jamie Lloyd and I just thought I would let everyone know that I had my baby on June 16th. My water broke on the 15th around 5:15 P.M. and after about 15 hours of labor, our sweet little baby girl was born at 8:34 A.M. She weighed 6 lbs. 3 oz., was 19 inches long, and is so beautiful! Labor was quite the experience. I definately love epidurals because I had to have pitocin to get labor going, and I can definately say that I no longer think I'm tough! Megan's dad was my anestheologist and he was a lifesaver! I don't tell you this to scare any of the girls who have not had their babies yet. The end result if definatley worth all the pain. I will keep all of you posted on her and how she is doing. Right now I am just adjusting to being a mom and trying to figure out what I am doing. (This picture is about a week

Boards and Baby

Hey everybody!! So the baby hasn't come yet, but it should be soon! Even though I've got almost 2 weeks to go until the due date, it's looking like it'll be any day...hopefully! I've been dilated to a 3 for about a week, so I'm crossing my fingers! And I just found out I passed my boards, so there's nothing holding me back now! I'll keep you posted when she's born! Great to hear what everybody's up to! Good luck everyone!!!!

Hi friends! I am way excited about this blog spot even though I've never done this before! Congrats on the pregnancy Jenny and congrats on the jobs everyone and congrats passing the boards Chandra! Congrats on your engagement Megan! Remember girls, we are very smart and are all going to be great nurses! :) China was amazing! I think everyone should try to go sometime. I really gained a greater appreciation for the United States while I was gone. I have gotten a job at the Huntsman Cancer Hospital and I really like it! I feel overwhelmed a little bit and somewhat confused at times, but the staff are so supportive. I am very blessed to be at this hospital. These cancer patients are amazing to work with! :) This will be a great job for me. I have moved to Salt Lake and am trying to adjust to the big city! EAK! If anyone is down here, feel free to contact me 435-760-7298 and we can go to lunch or do something else fun. :) I live in a cute apartment in the Avenues with some great girls that are returned missionaries. Anyway, keep me updated on what is going on. :)

Hey guys! Hope you summer is all going super well! Well.... I got a job on the medsurg floor at the Specialty Hospital and I love it. I've been working here for about a month with my temp license. I also decided to stay PRN at Logan nursing. I plan on taking my boards on the 2nd of July... and I'm just praying that i'll pass! I hope all is well with everyone! Keep in touch!

The Boards

Hi everyone. Just an update on me, I'm working for a home health agency in Bear Lake for the summer while my husband finishes his internship in Star Valley. We'll be moving back to Logan in the fall, and I'll once again be finding a new job. Hopefully there will be some left for me when I get there. I also wanted to let everyone know I took the boards on the 11th. I just found out today that I passed them!!! So good luck to everyone else on passing their boards.

Hey Everybody!

I'm glad we can stay in touch like this. I have never blogged in my life, and it has taken me a long time to figure this out. :) I just wanted to say hi and congrats to everyone on the new jobs and pregnancies etc.... I just started working at the Specialty Hospital Med/Surg this week. I finally got a temporary license and will take my boards soon.

But the best part about my summer is that I am engaged! I've been meaning to tell all of you for a while now... I'm getting married August 8th here in Logan. Hope everybody is having some fun this summer and not just studying for the awful boards... Talk to you later!

Hi Everyone! Elise, what a great idea to start a class blog -- plus, I'm pretty much addicted to blogging! So, my husband and I are here in Virginia Beach this summer and we're loving it! He works so much (he's the manager of an office selling security systems) so I don't see too much of him. But, we have some fun wives out here to hang with!

I guess the next big news is: I'm Pregnant! I'm 16 weeks right now -- due November 21st. We're so excited. I'm flying back to Utah at the end of June for a doctors appointment to find out what we're having!

As for nursing boards -- I'm scheduled to take them out here on June 18th. I'm getting a little nervous, so I'm going to start studying...soon that is.

I got a job!

I just got a job in Mother/Baby! I'm so excited! I start June 3rd. Does anybody else have any exciting news? We should post about the nursing boards too. Has anybody taken them yet?

I'm really starting to miss everybody! You girls that went to China need to post some pictures and tell us all about it. I bet it was a blast!
